Just wanted to say a big thankyou for all your help and professional guidance on choosing the right wig for me.

Having had a mastectomy and being told I would lose my hair with chemotherapy I was a bit uncertain about having to wear a wig, a friend suggested that I look up a hair salon that advertised the Trevor Sorbie charity and that’s when I came across Crown Affair.

You and your staff were warm and welcoming, your personal service was fabulous, and you really have an understanding of how cancer affects your clients. Your service is such that I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision and the fact that my friend was there to give her opinion too was just what the doctor ordered.

I tried on many different wigs and decided on two, you cannot tell that they are wigs and my friends and family all love my new look.

I would recommend Crown Affair to anybody.

I have to thank you Frank for your kind attention and ultimate patience when purchasing my wig. Having been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer and had a mastectomy in the space of five weeks, I was terrified of the prospect of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and an unknown future. On top of this I was certain to lose my hair with the drug regime, which I found very distressing. My hair has always been my crowning glory and very important to my confidence and self esteem. I did not want to have to purchase a wig and found the thought of the process very upsetting and daunting.

Frank was so kind and compassionate but at no time treated me like a cancer victim. He was very knowledgeable and professional and made the whole experience easier than I had ever imagined, and fun.

All the staff I came into contact with at the Crown Affair were lovely and made my husband and I feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and I even enjoyed a glass of wine while trying the wigs on – fantastic!

I have not lost my hair yet and have had it cut very short in preparation, but I have a beautiful wig on stand by and I look forward to wearing it and embracing this next chapter in my life.

Frank has played a very large part in helping me to accept this and enabling me to look forward with confidence.

Thank you Frank and all your staff.
